Janay Waters

Janay Waters holds the position of Acting Deputy Director of the Enforcement Division of the Financial Services Commission. In her new capacity, Ms Waters will lead the Enforcement Unit in investigating breaches of BVI regulatory legislation and implementing enforcement actions against regulated and unregulated entities. Ms Waters brings over a decade of regulatory and compliance experience to her new role, having served in various capacities within the Commission since 2013. Ms. Waters has a comprehensive regulatory background, having played a key role in the Enforcement Unit. Her work has resulted in improved unit efficiency through the implementation of structured processes and improved internal audit protocols.
