Searches (BVI Registered Entities)

Information for BVI Business Companies (BC), Limited Partnerships (LP), and Foreign Companies registered in the British Virgin Islands, may be obtained upon request with payment of the requisite fees.

Requests for information on BVI-registered entities can be made by accessing the Public Search Function here. For guidance, refer to the Public Search User Video Tutorial below.

At the initial stage, users may obtain:

To request additional corporate documents, please complete and submit the Search Request Form (R820), which includes detailed instructions.

Search Report Content

For BVI Business Companies (BCs) and Foreign Companies

Each Search Report includes the following information:

Company name
Company number
Company type
Date of incorporation
Status description and status date
Current registered agent
Registered agent address
Registered office address
Share or capital information
Previous name history
Transaction history
Certificate history

For Limited Partnerships (LPs)

Each Search Report includes the following information:

Limited Partnership (LP) name
LP number
Status description
Date of formation
Current registered agent
Registered office address
Registered agent telephone/fax number
Previous name history
Transaction history
Certificate history

Within each report, a list of transactions filed with the Registry will be provided. Users may request certified or uncertified copies of specific documents listed in the transaction history.
