Launch of Application for Extension to file Register of Directors Function

Registered Agents are reminded that the deadline for requesting an extension of time to file an initial Register of Directors is 31 March, 2017. Please use menu option to submit extension requests consistent with Section 118B (8) BVI BC Act. Extension requests may be filed for single and bulk filings.

Special Certificates – Revised Instructions

Effective immediately certificates issued by the Registrar in accordance with section 235A of the BVI Business Companies Act (special certificates) will be issued on secure certificate paper. Requestors should cease from attaching draft certificates to the R800 form when requesting these certificates. If a draft is required to be sent please send draft separately to specialcertificates@bvifsc.vg  referencing the company’s name and number.

New Handling for Certified Documents

All requests for certified copies of a Register of Directors will be placed in a sealed envelope for collection by the person(s) authorized to collect documents on behalf of the registered agent.
