EXTENSION OF DATES FOR FILING FEES 

Extension of moratorium on filing fees for existing companies

Pursuant to paragraph 60I(2) of Part VIIB of Schedule 2 of the BVI Business Companies Act, Revised Edition 2020 (the “Act”), the Registrar of Corporate Affairs has, by Notice published on the Commission’s website on 31st December 2025, extended the $0 filing fee applicable to existing companies* for complying with the requirements of sections 41, 43A and 96A of the Act until 31st March 2026.  A copy of the Notice can be viewed here.

*Existing companies are companies that were incorporated or continued before 2nd January 2025 and have not been struck off and dissolved.

Extension of moratorium on filing fees for existing limited partnerships

Pursuant to paragraph 18(1) of Part III of the Schedule of the Limited Partnership Act, Revised Edition 2020 (the “LP Act”), the Registrar of Limited Partnerships has, by Notice published on the Commission’s website on 31st December 2025, extended the $0 filing fee applicable to existing limited partnerships* for complying with the requirements of sections 53A and 53B of the LP Act until 31st March 2026.   A copy of the Notice can be viewed here.

*Existing limited partnerships are limited partnerships that were registered or continued before 2nd January 2025 and have not been struck off and de-registered.
