ECONOMIC SUBSTANCE FILING FEES

The BVI Financial Services Commission (the Commission) is reminding industry practitioners that, following the transfer of the Economic Substance filing function to the VIRRGIN system, subscription fees for the BOSS System are no longer payable to the Ministry of Finance.

Notice of this change was provided at the Economic Substance Webinar held on 23rd December 2025, and ahead of the transition of economic substance filings to VIRRGIN.

Details of the new fee regime will be shared by the Commission following consultation with the industry.

Industry practitioners are reminded to remain vigilant for further communication on the fee regime and any developments relating to the filing of Economic Substance transactions through VIRRGIN.
