OFFICE CLOSURE RE: MASS GATHERING RISKS

Road Town, Tortola - The BVI Financial Services Commission (the Commission) is advising industry participants and the general public that it will suspend operations at 12 noon on Tuesday, 18 November 2025. This decision follows His Excellency the Governor’s approval of the closure of Government Offices, based on advice from the Department of Disaster Management regarding potential risks that could emanate from mass gatherings such as the impending Uber Soca Tramp scheduled for that afternoon.

Notwithstanding this closure, the Commission confirms that:

1. The usual services through VIRRGIN will remain available; and,
2. The reception at the Registry of Corporate Affairs will observe normal opening hours for certificate and other document collection.

Normal Commission-wide business hours will resume on Wednesday, 19th November 2025, at 8:30 a.m.
