ADVISORY WARNING

EUROPEAN UNION NATIONAL CLEARANCE AGENCY

Tortola, British Virgin Islands – 13 December 2013 – The British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission (“FSC”) has recently been made aware that an entity operating as European Union National Clearance Agency, is offering financial clearing and settlement services whilst circulating a false incorporation certificate purporting to be registered / incorporated in the British Virgin Islands.         

 

The FSC can confirm that European Union National Clearance Agency has never been registered or incorporated as a company in the British Virgin Islands and therefore, has never been licensed by the FSC to carry on financial services business in or from within the Territory.

 

Members of the public are advised to exercise extreme caution in conducting any form of transactions with European Union National Clearance Agency 

The public is invited to provide the FSC with any relevant information on questionable entities which are purportedly operating in or from within the Territory, and on any improper or illegal activities engaged in by such entities. 

 

The FSC is issuing this Advisory Warning under Section 4(1)(l) of the Financial Services Commission Act, 2001.
