ADVISORY WARNING

York Kingdom International Ltd.

Tortola, British Virgin Islands – 11 September, 2012 – The British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission (the “FSC”) has become aware that York Kingdom International Ltd, has been offering insurance and investment products and services through its website located at www.yorkkingdom.com.  This entity has claimed that it is incorporated, licensed and regulated in the British Virgin Islands. 

York Kingdom International Ltd is no longer registered as a company in the British Virgin Islands, having been struck off the company register in 2005.  York Kingdom International Ltd has never been licensed by the FSC to carry on financial services business in or from within the Territory. Members of the public are therefore advised to exercise extreme caution in conducting any transactions with York Kingdom International Ltd.  

The public is invited to provide the FSC with any relevant information on this, and any other questionable entities that are purportedly operating in or from within the Territory.

The FSC is issuing this Advisory Warning under Section 4(1)(l) of the Financial Services Commission Act, 2001.
