About the Commission

The BVI Financial Services Commission is the Territory's single financial services Regulator. We are the agency responsible for authorising and licensing companies or persons to conduct financial services business and for monitoring the perimeter of regulated financial services activity to safeguard the public against any illegal and or unauthorised financial services business operating in or from within the BVI. Through the Registry of Corporate Affairs, the Commission is also responsible for the registration of all companies formed in the Territory and for the formation of Limited Partnerships and registration of Trade Marks and Patents.

Mutual Funds Annual Return Platform Upgraded
The Financial Services Commission is pleased to advise that it has upgraded its platform for filing Mutual Funds Annual Returns (MFAR).  The upgraded MFAR platform is now available at the internet address https://returns.bvifsc.vg and facilitates a more user-friendly and efficient filing experience.

Launch of Application for Extension to file Register of Directors Function, Special Certificates Revised Instructions & New Handling for Certified Documents
Registered Agents are reminded that the deadline for requesting an extension of time to file an initial Register of Directors is 31 March, 2017. Please use menu option to submit extension requests consistent with Section 118B (8) BVI BC Act.
